I just finished my first W/C rig using a heater core, home made shroud, tygon, and Maze3 and an Ehiem 1250 on a closed system. I also only have 1 Delta 120 mm fan pulling air in. I'm running a XP1600 on a Epox 8K3A+.

I currently have the CPU at 10.5 x 140 which is still close to stock and my temps seem to be a little high compared to other 8K3A+ users. I see people who are at the peak of O/C their CPU running these temps.

Case: 39C
CPU: 51C (running F@H)

Any suggestions?

could be a little warm, what's surprising me is your case temp at 38, is it really hot in your house or something?

Wouldn't you know it? Today is unusually hot for Southern California. I've heard it is around 105F or 41C today. :(

Sounds like your ambient temps are quite high. Not a bad temp considering. Adding a second 120mm fan will take another 4c off of it.

Unfortuneatly, I have no more room for another 120mm fan. :(

Luckily you are able to do something with your computer in that weather. I have a friend that couldnt do anything with his in that kind of weather. Thank the water gods for allowing you to use your comp while its that hot.
