RAID perf / enable write cache

Hi,

on my Abit BD7II raid, I have 2 HD MAXTOR UDMA 133 plug in the mother board RAID port.

I m running Windows XP pro (all latest update).


When I go to my HD propriety, I just cant see the setting "enable write cache".:confused:

Is this normal?

Only available for SCSI drives. IDE write cache is enabled by default and can't be changed when your drives are used in a RAID stripe. It can be activated/deactivated on single drives though.
