what do i need to change ??? the mobo???the highest i can get to is 2.4, i also have a volcano 7 cpu fan........do i need a mobo with 533 fsb thanks...........tom

Your probably not gonna be able to hit 3.0 without extreme cooling and/or putting the voltage on the proc over 1.8 volts which has shown to severly shorten Northwood life spans regardless how well they are cooled.

If you still want to attempt this you'd probably need to to the vid pin trick for more CPU voltage and have a motherboard that can go to atleast 166Mhz on the FSB which I think that board you have should already be able to do. A board with a PCI/AGP lock would be very helpful too to keep those in spec.
