hi i have a pny geforce3 ti500 even when i'm not playings games or anything the the card and ram gets very hot it seems like the fan is doing absolutely nothign if anyone has the same card and the same problem that knows where i can get a fan that will fit my card please send me a link to a site where i can find a replacement fan thank you
any other ways of cooling are welcome

this (http://www.heatsink-guide.com/gfxself.htm) is an easy to build solution you can try and it would work very well, yet better than just replacing the fan on your video card.
other than that you can always replace the hsf for a crystal orb.

hsf = heat sink & fan

you should replace your stock hsf with an aftermarket version, that will move more air and keep it cooler. Also ramsinks will cool your memory down, and some type of PCI-slot blower could be used to increase the airflow around your card. And don't forgat to wype of the stock gunk that is under the HSF and replace it with ASIII.

So if I put a fan right next to my vid card, I should have it blowing ON the vid card, not away?

well the ram already have heatsinks on them and they also get hot i dont know where i can find hsf options for my card nor do i know how to put it on and take the old on off please help thanx a lot
