the thing I am made about is, being banne do of the forums. While yes, 5 of my posts as an attempt to gain access of a the classifides were not exaclty 'information filled", I have been punished by the limiting of my post count. Now, after I have returned to over 100 posts, I have been barred access.

it's for that reason this forum doesn't suck. you can't just spam you way into the classifieds (doing a great job SSS) i havn't seen any of your posts so i don't want to critisize but with rude posts like this one won't help. if you have a beef with a MOD then try to settle it through a PM first, you'll get better results.

So basically you are saying the forums suck because the classifieds mods go out of there way to make sure all the members have a safe environment to buy, sell, and trade. Your logic is flawed. you are taking it personally when it is not personal. This is for the protection of the members and once you have been a member for a while and are allowed in this will include you. I am willing to bet once you are in that you will be behind the decisions of the mods as much as we are now. If you ask me why is that. I would say because they are protecting us and soon you from being scammed and trolled. And another thing. why aim you frustration at Skip? These forums are his baby and we would not be here posting if it were not for his dedication and his financing these very forums. My hat comes off to Skip and the classifieds Mods for going above and beyond to make these forums what they are. Have a nice night:D

Please stick around the forums and you will see that the classifieds moderators take their responsibilitys very seriously and devote a great deal more time to these forums than I am able to do myself.
Any choices are made after long discussions and not with haste. While I understand your frustrations, the efforts of the classified moderators will eventually benifit yourself should you decide to wait untill you are granted access to this area.
Only time will gain anyone access to the classifieds and even when access is granted it is still not a free for all, the rules in place can be frustrating to some as they are even more strict that those in place in the general forum.

However any frustrations should not be taken out on Skip or anyone else for that matter as perhaps it was your own actions that caused classified privilages removed.

You have to understand mods control what's happening around the forums, moderating them. skip is the one running the forums and configing them. Shadow and Newbie don't mod much anymore since they're admins, they run what's going on and what not. In other words, skip provides the boards the mod are the ones controlling it.

The classifieds mods have every right to ban someone if they feel that there maybe a chance that a problem can occur within the classifieds. They aren't going to wait for someone to get screwed on and then enforce something.

You're putting the classifieds ahead of the forums and seems as if you just want to come here and jump on the classifieds. If you want to access it's as simple as doing quality posts. You can easily help someone even if you don't know the answer. Google.com is a place I like :D

this place is structured in a way that it makes it almost impossible to get trolled and i commend everyone on here for that.

With all the work he's put into this forum, especially as of late with the redesign and the server crash, I really think Skip deserves better than that, even if it was a temporary outburst. I know when something like that happens, that the first thing you wanna do is punch something/somebody, but it's not always the best solution.

I am however glad you see why Sam & Co. did what they did, and I'm sure that once they're satisfied with your posts that they will let you back in. I don't know SSS that well but I do know from prior dealings that he is a reasonable guy, and moreover just doing what he thinks is best for the forums.

And as Maxvla pointed out, no we aren't just giving away stuff in there. It's no different than any other forum classifieds section, just more moderator presence.

This horse has been whipped pretty hard but I would like to add that the work done by the mods in the classifieds as well as the rest of the boards makes this IMO the best computer/OC bases forum on the net. I get a warm fuzzy feeling dealing with ppl in the classifieds here and dont hesitate when a deal is struck. I cant say the same about other forums. 100 quality posts is a great way to protect the members here and I applaude that. I have read several of your posts and see why this suspension was implemented. Take the time to respond with with good info and you will help others and yourself.

Maybe its just me, but if thats really the way you feel, why are you still bothering to post here?

If you don't like this Forum there are plenty of others that may be a better fit for you.

Obviously, any of the large number of people who are members of this Forum for any length of time feel differently.

And guess what? After the posts of yours that I have seen I would neither buy from you or sell anything to you if/when you do get access to the classifieds!

This COULD change, but at this point, that's the facts.

Now just why are you in such a hurry to get access to the classifides? Theres no free stuff in there like was said before. Why not just help people out with problems and post meaningful things to gain access?
Someone who gets so upset about the 100post limit, gets so upset over being denied access after trying to spam the way there, and gets upset because of the safeguards that are in place to protect the trades here... may have some alterior motive, hmmm?

There is a small pool of people like this guy (http://www.hardforums.com/showthread.php?threadid=481951) who spammed to 100 and started posting threads like you did today.

Not only was this guy PERMENENTLY banned from the classifieds, he was banned from this site completely and he spent a little time in jail for dealing in alleged Stolen merchandise.

But he wasnt able to do so here due to our safeguards. ;)

Fedorenko, if/when you are allowed to trade in our classifieds you'll be glad the rules are as they are because you'll be safe from that. I'm glad for it. We all are. SSS, LutaWicasa and Mr. B all keep us safe from this kind of thing.

SSS or is it SSSS....never mind, I hold SSS in high regards and if you can not satisfy the gate keeper then you are possibly at the wrong gate. Keep trying. This IS the best forum I've been to. I have learned so much from the help of other members. You can too. We ALL strive to keep this the best forum site. Read through some of the threads and see if you can offer some good advice to someone that needs help. You will get farther faster that way.

I can so sympathize:D I sit here typing away on a keyboard w/ one broken leg from when I thought my video card fried. I can't even imagine what is like to keep this server going as well as you do.

BTW I'm just wondering, what's the big deal about the classifieds? I went there once just to see what everyone was going on about and haven't been back since. I think the info contained in the sharing on this board is far more valuable, and it's FREE

Maybe you guys should let everyone into the classifieds, and they have to earn their way into the rest of the forums:p

I don't see any problems with the way things are run here. When I first started out, I spammed my count a bit to get to 100. After my spanking by SSS & Skip, I went back and deleted 'em myself. The classifieds aren't that big or cheap but I've had 2 good buys and didn't get ripped off. That's well worth the price of admission.

Word of advice: Never post when emmotionaly upset. You end up looking like a fool or worse. Sleep on it and try again in the morning.

Yeah, no kidding. I posted that I wanted an XP, but neglected to put athlon in front of it... And then I have two members on my case thinking that I want to buy software! (Which is not allowed in this forum.) Actually kind of amusing!
