Angle grinder. You can get sanding or cutting discs for it, and the cutting discs look like scaled-up versions of the Dremel ones.

Good job, I know how it feels with no dremel. I did mine with an electric drill and a file:( IT TOOK TWO DAYS!

you'd be suprised how easy it is with a jigsaw and a good metal cutting blade! It took me literally 30 mins to cut the hole for my last window.
If you have the money then jigsaws will work wonders... otherwise dremels are fine... I guess if you don't have either you can use angel grinders! ehehe GOOD JOB! :)

i personally like to drill it out (lots of holes inside the pattern) and then file, is more my style being a sculptor and all. but i think i can be more precise with a file period. even though i ground the hell out of the very very tip of my thumb today fiiling plaster with a rasp.

That's how I do it, I think if i had a jigsaw would probably use it(the time factor only).

I saw a good tip when using those rasps/files. If you fut off the finger of a peather glove and cover the end with it it saves your hand alot of agony.

I used an angle grinder just last night to cut a nice big hole in the bottom of my case. I would have used my dremmel but the case bottom was a lot thicker then I thought, and I kept breaking the cutting disks. Got my dads angle grinder, and 15mins later, all cut, files and rubber trimmed.
They're very loud though!
