I will soon be getting a 1.33 GHz Tbird with 266 MHz FSB and I'd like to get it to at least 1.5 GHz or above. Can anyone recommend an efficient heatsink and fan combo to cool it?

I think a Fop38 WBK would bee the one to get. It's loud as hell, but a great cooler. U might need to get a water cooling rig, cuz at these speed the CPU creates very much heat.

Just my 2 cent.

My toughts quite closely. If I was trying that, I'd most likely go for peltier & watercooling.

The FOP is a great HSF but is also plagued w/ the common problem of the poorly designed clip. Checkout the Vantec FCE-62540D it is a great HSF and has the best designed clip out. You don't have to worry about destroying you T-Bird Chip put the HSF on/off. ( it is also cheap - under $20.)
