You can read my system specs in my profile, FYI. I have a ThermalRight AX-7 with a 80mm Delta. I run at about 40c. The highest I can go is 142, but my temps stay the same. Do you think that the ram is holding me back? I don't want to unlock this proc, I am going to get a 1600 and unlock that in a while. Thanks.

It could be the cpu. Amd is not producing cpu's based on the palamino core past xp2100. This probabily means that they have hit the limits of the cpu core. You should be able to go further with the other cpu. expecialy if you decide to unlock it

1st question is... Have you cranked you your Vcor & Dimm yet... if you have with same results than its your RAM.

i have messed with the vcore, but not enuff. I am going to start doing that in a few weeks, or when i get time.

I couldn't get higher then 143 and be completely stable.
145 would work but would crash occasionally (1.85 core).
So it may be the chip like jreinsma said

I'm gonna try with a lower multi this weekend and see if I can
get some more FSB out of it, if not the 14x may be worth a shot

What stepping is your CPU? (Look on the core.) If it isn't AGOIA or AROIA, it is almost certainly the CPU holding you back. If it is one of those two, it may or may not be.
