CMOS problem at startup

Hello, I am new to this forum and I have a bad problem with my P3 650. I moved so i unplugged all the external cables and it sat around for about 2 weeks. When I tried to start it up again, it recognized my video card, recognized my hard drive, ram everything but before going to Windows(Win98) it went to the CMOS setup screen. Every time I cancel without any changes OR just hit save changes (even though I make none) it restarts the computer and goes back into the CMOS screen. It's like a terrible cycle. I seriously don't know what is wrong and no one else can figure it out either. I have had this computer for 2 years with no problems at all, someone please help!!! Maybe the CMOS battery is bad.... replace the battery.

You moved it??

I'd check for a loose IDE cable maybe on the HD

Is the keyboard damaged maybe the DEL. key is stuck and it keeps going into the bios screen.
