So I'm planning to do water cooling to my 2000+ XP Athlon, AT7xp computer.

There's few problems. First what kind of cooling do you use for the water? I'm quessing that you'll use radiator from a car. I'm I right? If I'm right what size of a radiator is optimal for 2000+ (Which is going to be overclocked soon :p ) ?

Second question: What I can fluck up? :) Or in different words what you have fluck up?

Typically.. you wouldn't want to use a car radiator as those are HUGE. A lot of people use Heater Cores though.

They can be had cheap at auto stores, and popular models I see mentioned at thing slike '89 Camaro, '86 Chevette and things like that.. (I think '86 is right).

What you ca mess up depends on what your doing :p

If your not careful you could have a leak and kill your whole system if you don't setup/test properly. Or if you put your waterblock on wrong you could bust the core on your CPU.

Just little things ;)

when you test for leaks.. put down a layer of paper towels.. then a layer of like red koolaid and another single layer of paper towel.. should have no problem seeing if it leaks

heater cores are good, also oil and transmission coolers are good too. auto parts stores, junkyards, personally i got the fifty dollar all-copper oil cooler from jc whitney. also, you will want to test your entire system, all hooked up, outside of your case, extensively and search for leaks.

yeah, 86 Chevette, or 89 Camaro heatercores are the most popular ones out there. they're also of a nice size that most people are able to fit inside their case with one or two 120mms blowing on them. as far as screwing things up. clamp everything and leak test and you should be good. also when choosing parts try to stick with one size tubing. either all 3/8 ID or all 1/2 ID
