Is the Tulatin Celly leaving ??
It seems longer between webshops with celeron 1.0A, and 1,1A in boxed versions. Isnt this a sure sign of "allmost empty of CPU's" ??
Just wondering.....
I think Intel has stopped manufacturing 1.0 and 1.1 models.

Yes, there already was a official Intel Product Change Notification!
Sorry, I can't find the link to the file on the Intel-Server, but feel free to download it below! ;)
Feel free to download the file here from my webspace:

Don't worry you'll sure still get one! I don't think that these CPUs will disappear soon. Perhaps in 6 month it'll be hard to get one ;)

Has anyone seen signs of a B1 stepping Tualatin???
Could someone please explain to me what exactly a Tualatin Celeron is and what makes it so badass?
Thanks,
Briane

The Tualatin name is the name of the .13 micron coppermine core. The tualatin celeron is .13 micron, runs at a lower voltage, has 256k L2 cache and can overclock easily to 1.5ghz :D
Its basically just like a .18 micron coppermine p3 except the L2 cache latency is 2 (some cases 3), runs on 100mhz fsb, and its .13 micron.
The tualatin celeron comes in 1ghz, 1.1ghz, 1.2ghz, 1.3ghz, and 1.4ghz speeds. The 1.0ghz and 1.1ghz always end in A (ex: 1.0A 1.1A) to classifiy it as a tualatin core. There were coppermine cored celerons (.18micron, 128k L2 cache) made in 1ghz and 1.1ghz flavors.
the 1.0a and the 1.1a tualatin celerons easily reach 133mhz fsb, which is a brainless overclock. Most cases they go higher, thats whats so special about them :)

Mobile P3-1333.
Observation: B1 revision supposed to have 06B4 CPUID return value, but this one hasn't..
intel typo ?
The big deal about a Tualatin Celeron to me is the fact that it is about half the price as a PIII and gets me the same as, or better performance as a PIII. The OC'ing aspect of it is just a bonus. This 1.1 gig Tualatin Celeron is much faster at stock speed as my Celeron 800 was OC'ed to 1.1 gig. Not sure what makes it faster, especially when only running at 100 fsb compared to my 800 running at 133 fsb OC'ed. But it is faster even without the OC. When OC'ed it really kicks butt. 2000 pts higher in 3dmark 2k1 with the OC to 133 fsb. IMHO the Tualatin is Intel's dirty little secret that they dont want anybody to know about since there is so much bang for the buck.

Correct Tuk.
BigRed. The 1.1a I have has a L2 cache latency of 1.
Tualatins rock !
