This fan is just too loud. I dont even want to get on my computer cuz I cant stand it. It started off fine. But now it sort of vibrates and makes uglier sound. WHen I touch the hand guard it stops, but its just tooooooo loud. Maybe cuz My case is open. hahah

Try balancing the fan with a little bit of PIG putty.

Really. You don't have a noise problem, you have a vibration problem. Check and adjust the balance like Jeff says, and you might try isolating it a bit by putting some rubber washers between the fan and the mounts.

Attach an 80 mm fan mounted on an 80 mm fan grill that should do the trick
