I've used excite for years. Their broadband went belly up and SWB took over. The rest of excite got new management and continued on with only a week or so of restructuring the website/email stuff.

Actually, when excite swapped over, it was HORRIBLE.

My mom lost all her email at excite for about 2 and a half months.

I lost mine for about 2-3 weeks, and when it came back, they had unorganized it, and made it all unread!
And the service was VERY hard to log into for a long time.

Its working good now, but I can't stand web browsers anymore.

I still didn't think they allowed new accounts, thats what they told me anyways!

in regards to contest:
O goodie! I just reread the rules of the contest.

At first I thought I had to get 5 WU a week. O god! I can hardly get one every 3-4 days!
I keep getting these giant 4-6 point WUs.
But 5 pts... woohooo. Already got this weeks points!
Still, I'm heatin my room up like crazy leaving my comp on all day while I'm in class.

I sleep with winamp on. It takes 9% of my 500mhz PIII's cpu usage.
9% that could go towards folding! ahhhh!!!!

if you win a weekly prize then you will not be eligible for any other weekly prizes, but, you still have a chance at the grandprize if you remain eligible.

the weekly prizes are bundles, so there are only 7 of them, and this ensures that someone won't win more than one of them since there aren't a lot.

Weekly drawings will be a straight forward drawing. If you meet the minimum requirement for the week then you will recieve one ticket. This goes across the board, one ticket per entrant so everyone as an equal chance of winning the prize.

Sorry, I thought you were asking how the winners were picked. I assumed you read NASsoccer's post that said that the weekly prizes are bundles.
