Hey everyone, I'm running my Athlon T-bird 750 not-overclocked, mainly because I don't know how to check its temp. I understand that some mobos have a built in temp probe that reports the cpu temp through proggies like MBM. However, I my mobo doesn't have one of these built in. Does anyone know how I can check my cpu temps? Is there a termistor that I can install? If so, where can I get one and how do install the darn thing!!! My system runs at 22 degrees C, but I have no idea how hot my cpu us....
Thanks in advance...

You may want to try using MBM nevertheless. Though your MoBo may not have any external sensors, it may still have a way to report the CPU temp. If it does not work then just uninstall it again.

If it does not work you may have to revert to a manual indoor/outdoor thermometer with an external lead. You can attach that lead to the heatsink or somewhere close to the CPU.

I don't think it has any sensors besides the motherboard temp and fan rpm. Anyone have a suggestion on a good manual temp probe?
