View Full Version : New Radeon 7500 - Garbage Viewing Some Web Sites
I just installed a new radeon 7500 in a P4 system based on an Abit TH7II. Neither the system nor the card are overclocked. I downloaded and installed the latest drivers and utility packages from ATI. When viewing some web sites the picture turns to complete garbage if I scroll up and down very quickly. On other sites it looks perfect regardless of how fast I scroll. Is this a driver issue, or a device setting? By garbage I mean the picture just turns into a blur of colored spots - imagine the snow from a blank TV station, except with color. If I stop scrolling and hit refresh the page looks perfect again until I scroll.

their is a driver and control pak for the 7500, sounds like a setting issue, never experienced this prob when I owned a 7500 or have not had prob with my 8500 at all like this

I installed the latest driver and control pack directly from ATI. I've fiddled around with the settings a little, but nothing makes any difference.

Try the 6094. I haven't heard anything from this, could be a driver issue since you've only tried one and I noticed like the same then when things slide (WC3 the door opens and the image will become all weird w/ black pixels. Haven't seen it since I switched it back to the 6094.
I tried the older driver you suggested and it didn't make any difference :( Here's a screen shot of what it's doing. This is the download page for Seti@Home.

I'm going to take the card back and get an Nvidia based board.
