£87 for an ASUS TUSL2-C/A ??

£96 for an ST6-RAID ??

do they both accept 512MB MAX total?

they are both new!!
the TUSL2-C without audio is cheaper but then i'd have to buy a soundcard. and that cmedia chip aint all that bad as onboard goes. got one hi-fi connected!

Yup. 512mb max for each, or any other board with the
815 chipset.

Not sure if your getting ripped off or not. IF the current
conversion rate is 1 pound =1 buck, the prices look ok....

actually i think it's about £1 = $1.5

but i found the straid about £10 cheaper now.

I'm using an ABIT-ST6RAID and I love it! Nothing's better for overclocking. You may have to do the vid1 to vid2 voltage mod to get higher than 1.675 total volts. Yes, 512MB of PC133 SDRAM is the max with a 256MB stick in slot1 and a 128MB stick in slot2 and slot3.

thanks for the reply christian...

I got an ASUS TUSL2-c/a.

*but* I'll probably also get an ST-6R as I have my old PIII 700 cumine sitting around here.

TUSL is only good as long as your chip can hit 133+FSB. my celeron just hits that. at 135 it won't post @1.675V.

6R doesn't have any sound does it?
