overclocking implications

i see the reprecussions of overclocking an AMD 1.33 now. holy moly....i can tell the room temperature is significantly warmer than with my overclocked p3. i'm certain my electric bills are going to be higher this summer as a result. i feel sticky and it's not even summer. i'm not sure i can afford this upgrade!

I notice the same my computer is in the dinning room, which is where the thermostate is for the rest of the house so when the computer is on the rest of the house is freezing.

The computer heats a room which is 3 by 6 meters long well even when the out side temp is only about 2C

No crisis here. Remember Y2K? Solar and a generator will keep the peppy box going. I do expect other problems though.

Outside of the heat from the pelt and water cooling already mentioned there are other things. The constant noise from the fans as Prime runs 24-7 to test stability. My office is in the corner of the kitchen/dining area. There is a horizontal vertical clutter problem. It’s littered with motherboards, fans CPUs, PCI and video cards, HSFs, thermal compounds, tools, etc. Not to mention the accoutrements of running my business.
