if the gpu is basically a cpu core, how in the living hell do i affix a cooljag 1u cooler on it without using epoxy on the core? or is that safe? bump!
epoxy is fine. Arctic Alumina Adhesive is what you want. its ceramic thermal epoxy. non-conductive... in case you get some on your video card. i thought the 9700 came with mounting holes though... if that is the case im not sure if there are any products out now that would use those holes, unless they are the same size as an nvidia card's. that would be another way... possibly.
