i am currently running my xp at 146 fsb and my temps are fine they run 40 idle and around 45 full load so i know that my temps are ok here are some specs:
memory is kingston pc2100
mobo is a msi kt3 ultra
gainward geforce 2 ti
pci nic

my memory timings are set to default same with my mem voltage at default could anyone clue me in why i wont post past 146

I was stuck at about the same point.

I had to unlock and decrease the multi. My xp1800 doesn't like anything above 1700MHz.

currently 166x10 but it will do about 169x10 and it will happily run at 187x9=1683 with 1.85 V cpu and +.20 V mem.

I would suggest you unlock or get a XP1600 aroia

im thinkin about getting a 1600 but how far have people got those on air? would it be better than i have now?

My agoia Y got 1850 on air, first day.

I had an XP1800 that I spent a LOT of time and effort to get to 1.7ghz; that chip just did NOT want to go above 1650!!

Dropping the multi and raising FSB may not help you get a faster chip, but the system will be faster at the same OC with a higher fsb.

yeah I have seen over 1900 MHz with those XP1600.

I am pretty sure Yodems has one and eliah also try search for posts by them
