transmission coolers

Since transmission coolers are smaller than heater cores has anyone tried those and how did they do?

Heater Cores are really way overkill for the heat dissipated by a single chip. I think a tranny cooler would work fine, but maybe be a few degrees C higher.

they work good, especialy, if heavy modding to the case is not possable, the downside is that they usualy are more restrictve than heatercores. But then again i guess that would depend on the model
