ok i was setting up my water setup today (FINALLY) and so far have connected the pump to the rad. My rad is at the top of my case and i didnt think i would need a elbow connector to be able to connect my block to the whole inline setup but i definetly do.

obviously the online shops have these things but they are like $1 and the shipping is like $10!

does homedepot carry these things? if so (since home depot has a TON of stuff), what is the exact type i should get? plastic right? i am using 1/2" tygon

Home Depot has a ton of copper elbows in their plumbing section. If you have any scrap tubing left over, take it with you to make sure that you can stretch it over one end of the elbow. If you need to, you can also pick up a short length of copper pipe to fit inside the other side of the elbow, to go into the heatercore tubes (make sure you rough it up some, and clean it with some isopropal alchohol so the JBweld will stick to it good and tight)

whoa whoa jbweld?

to attach the tygon (which i have PLENTY of btw) i was just pushing it into the barbs and then using clamps to hold it down.

so it is better to get copper elbows than the plastic ones they sell in online shops?

i am not entirely sure you understand what i need it for. i need it to look like this:

btw, when i get the elbow, should i stick it directly onto the h2o block barbs like shown in that pic or should i do barb-tubing-elbow-tubing?

if your block has strait barbs u could get plastic ones from home depote and stick them on withs some tubing between the block and them them plug themin if u understan me but you are a little uncler too. i think you need to get elbows like that (in your pic) from swiftech though:D :eh?: :D

well i didnt mean i wanted those specific elbows from swifty i was just using that pic as an example of how i need the elbows on my block.

cash overide i have no clue what you were trying to explain.

so can i just go and buy a plastic elbow (or copper whats better?) from home depot, put tubing inbetween the block barbs and the elbow, and then connect the tubing from my rad to the other side of the elbow?

btw my loop is pump-rad-block

I decided to always use brass or copper fittings because they seem to have a larger inner diameter than the plastic ones. also, if you need to go from one size tube to another, i dont think you can step up or down in size with plastic, but you can buy metal ones that do that.

ok ill try again...

i am guessing your swifty block has some fittings correct?

ok, so you get liek 3 inches or somthing like that of tube and stick that on the blocks's fittigns,

then go to Home Depote and get some plastic elbows.

stik the plastic ones on the short tubes that are sticking off of the block's fittings.

vuala, you have a elbow fitted wb but it will be kinda long off the block.. but eh

di du get that or shoudl i jsut work on tm explaining skills oem more?
:D :eh?: :D

well i just saw some at the hardware store today, but they had little holes from the elbow, youwould want to drill them out, basicly take those out, wrap the new ones in teflon tape, then thread them in, then wrap the origional ones in and thread those in....
