Ok guys, I've read all the information I needed I think, and now ready to move on to water. I'm planning on purchasing the Swiftech MCW-462-UH, MCW-40T, EHEIM 1048 or 1250, and get the tube and heatercore from local's hardware store. With this setup, I have to use 3/8"OD(1/4"ID) tube for now, and this is my question. the MCW-40T need to be modded to use 1/2"OD(3/8"iID), so should I do it? Should I really go for the 1/2"OD setup, or the 3/8"OD is enough for me?

PERSONALLY I'd go with 1/2 inch... since the 1048 comes with 1/2 inch, and it's not that hard to modify your rad to use 1/2 if you have to. (personall preference)
