I just bought a V5 (great price), and now I'm starting to think about cooling. I should have considered this before I bought it, because now any cooling I buy will be double the price (2 chips to cool). Anyway, what do you all think about the stock hsf on these cards if I'm overclocking? Would it be worth it for me to give it watercooling when I build my watercooling system in about a month? I think I'm willing to give up only one PCI slot. Thanks.

I'm not going to ask why you just bought a V5, being that 3Dfx is dead. But I've found the easiest way to cool my GF2 is to simply go to my local computer stor and get one of their cheapest HSF's(about 10 bucks). I'll lap it down a little and strap it onto the GPU. I can't put anything in PCI slot 1, but on my MOBO thats shared with the APG slot anyway.

In response to your non-question, the V5's are really cheap right now ($100-110), and I can always download homemade drivers. It's a very decent card for the money, which I don't have much of because I'm saving for water cooling.
