I think i have made up my mind about what Graphics card to get.. Or well.. Close to...

Gainward GeForce4 PowerPack! Ultra/750 XP (GF4Ti4600 128MbDDR)

Gainward GeForce4 PowerPack! Ultra/650 XP Golden Sample (GF4Ti4200 128Mb DDR)

The "lesser card" Ti4200 is without cooling for the memoryes.. and about half the price of the other one.. More or less the same stuff about the rest.. Actuallt get some more stuff with the Ti4200 but nothing i will use...
Is it worth the higher price?
Or should i get ony of me old Pentium heatsinks, cut up and OC the crap out of the cheaper card?

Any ideas? Or i should go with some other card?

The 4200 is a much better deal. The performance difference will be unnoticeable in games with a mild overclock. Anyways, you want to save up for the NV30, so get the 4200.;)

the 4200 is a great deal, i got that card . . .its hot as hell . . .

the 4600 is not worth the money imo, you should def. grab the 42 . . .

exactly, the ti4200 is by no means a bad card, and after someoverclocking, it can be better than the ti4200. Plus, the ti4200 over the next couple of weeks will drop in price, making it one of the best cards for your money :)

Is Gainward a good trademark? they dont fuzz with warrantyis if that would happen? (again i wont OC that PC untill i got a newer one so that wont matter, but i dont wanna sit with stuff i cant have a blast with later on...)

Anyone?
So thankfull for all the response... Thanks...

Definately go with the 4200 and wait for the next gen of cards to come out.

On a side note: since each G4 is roughly equivalent to any other g4 of the same model 4200=4200 4400=4400 and 4600=4600. And its hard to really add new features without being a new vid card g4 4800 or something :) Is it just me or do you think there is going to be a: Platinum, Mega, Super, Giga, Preproduction For Your Eyes Only, Maxi, Ultra, Nuclear GForce 4 ti just around the corner?:D

Just make sure you get the 128MB ti4200 since the 64mb vers has some artifact and PSOD issues.

Actually Gainward was selected for the price thing only.. (not as expensive as a few i looked at.. And not the cheapest, i mean.. Yuo DO get what you pay for...)

All i "knew" when i started to look wasGF4 and 128Mb... I wanna be able to play games with this card in a few years.. Perhaps not on my main rig.. But it should still hold up as Multiplayer "extra" PC...

All tho it looks like it could be a good choise.. No one in here sadi "No dont get that, It sux. Get a <Insert fav brand here> insted!"

Thanks for all the help...
B!

EDIT -> Your probobly right.. There WILL be a Super blaster Platinum cryptonit GF4 preatty soon.. Im sure... And every OC'er in the world will shake his head and say.. That? We did that a load of months ago..

Actually, the Gainward Golden Sample cards have one advantage over other GeForce4s: the manufacturer warrents that they will overclock to a certain level.
