ok im getting roughly $900 mid october
i have decided to go water cooling hehe
i am not gonna spend more than $500 shipped so thats my limit
i want the best possible cooling at a minimal level of sound cause this box is in my room on 24/7 and my current setup is WAY too loud (see sig)

I was thinkin either
- Swiftech Quiet Power
or
- Custom Setup
lian li pc75 (the one with the professional window)
maze 3 polytop
eheim 1250 (or equivelant (sp?) smaller = better)
120mm fan(s) (dont kno brand yet)
80mm fans (quiet to replace stock fans if they are too loud)
black ice extreme (prob blue looks are important if im getting this case...)
tygon tubing
DD Res (im cheap and im not gonna have time to "make my own" cause im gonna be in school)
Possibly a new psu
maby a black light ccfl kit

post any suggestions to this except getting a heater core (camero / chevette) cause looks are more important than practicality (its a $248 +$ 15 shipping case) I want this computer to be near silent!!! im open to suggestions about different blocks, pumps, rads and what 120mm/80mm fans are quiet with good airflow also how loud are the stock lian li 80mm fans are they quiet???

thx in advance

*edit*
also i would like to avoid koolance hehe (they just look too cheap to me) and if possible get almost everything in a kit from one place two at most

the loudest part will be the 120mm fan but there not too loud..i'd recommend panaflo fans..mine is 103cfm at 45db..u can get lower speed panaflos also...there probably the best fans around

i have an eheim 1250 and its practially silent if it doesnt vibrate when mounted(make sure its tight)

I second getting panaflo fans. They are on the more pricey side, though they provide good cooling at low noise levels.
as for the black ice extreme, I would get a heater core instead. heater cores are a little cheaper and are better as far as performance goes. They are less restrictive to water flow and provide more surface area..... the result? = better cooling (not by much but it's still better)
but yeah, a lian li case is always nice to have... I got a pc-68 and do not regret it one bit!
$500 is a fairly large budget so look around... I suggest these sites...
www.newegg.com (for your lian li case)
www.aquastealth.com (watercooling)
www.dangerden.com (watercooling)
www.dtekcustoms.com (watercooling)

ok panfaflo fans it is :)
but im not getting the heater core hehe for a few reasons
1 the bix looks WAY BETTER
2 i have no tools (or knowlege of how to nor want to learn) how to install barbs
3 I have no tools to make the fan shroud that would be required....
4 this project has to be done in 1 weekend so making my own stuff is out....

The BIX is good, but you may be disapointed with the temps.

When you catch the bug you will want to learn:D

That you can get at Dtek (http://dtekcustoms.safeshopper.com/19/cat19.htm?68) For that matter you can get the heatercore as well.

I can relate about the time, but I'm still going to do it:burn:

One suggestion is to use a really big 24V fan to run on your 12V power supply. I am doing this on my 20" rad -- I have 2 Comair-Rotron Patriot fans (~6.75"/dia or 172mm) that push 235CFM at 24V. I got a Y-split power connector, cut the yellow and black wires, connected them to the + & - barbs on the fans, and connected them to my power supply. About ~117CFM at ~25dB. It's a good trick.

BTW, I got the fans at All Electronics Corp. They were $9.50/ea.

Here's a shot of the wires:
