Well, lets see them then, everybody has one whether its just an ice cream tub or a aluminium case.... I need to buy a new one, small but will hold everything from hundreds of assorted case screws to my small butane soldering iron. I'm just using a little safe with a handle on top.

Also i'm curious as to what you have inside it!

(cant take a pic of mine at the mo, my cameras gone on holiday)

My tools are organized on a pegboard on one of my garage walls. I've got a plastic toolbox that I had before I set up the pegboard and a big laptop bag that I use specifically for making onsite visits. The tools stay on the pegboard until I need them though.

Sorry, no place to host pics. :(

I bought a "computer toolkit" a while back with a cheap soldering iron, nut driver, screw driver, etc... a while back and I've been adding things to it as I buy or find them. It's nice and compact, which makes it nice for trowing in my car when on my way from site to site.

I don't have any real tools, just some cheap ones that give as door prizes, but my dad owns about 60 screwdrivers, a few dozen wrenches and ratchets/sockets, and a coupla drills, all tucked into a Red Craftsman 8-Drawer Roll-Away/10 Drawer Chest Combo Kit.(Got it bought 3 years ago) :) Here is a blue model:

From usage experience: Use either DeWalt, Porter Cable, Crafstman, MAC, or Delta for tools and equipment.

That's sweet. I'm too cheap so a pegboard will have to do!

I would post pics but I don't want to go out to my car. :) If you really want it I will. But I just bought a toolbox from Home Depot with small compartments on the top. It also has a tray inside. I keep alot of different screws, jumpers, mobo standoffs, zip ties, Win 98 boot disk, a cd-rw with all the drivers I could think of, pliers, screw drivers <- about 15 different types, a PS/2 keyboard, 2 Socket A heatsinks, PS/2 mouse, crossover network cable, ide cables, pci slot covers, an I/O shield, antistatic wrist wrap, ASIII, an ATX power supply tester that I lost, 1 3v battery for bios. And a bunch of other stuff. Most of this stuff is left over from upgrades, and other people's computers, and I looked at the MaxPC article for the stuff I didn't have.

Same here. I built mine almost identical to max pc's. Even went out and bought the same tool box. Got it at a medical supply store. I probably spent a couple hundred dollars on the parts and such that I did not have, but it has made me well over that in "emergency" pc repair calls. (mostly when family cant figure out that the power cord came loose.)

I use an oversized butt pack from Mountainsmith which is big enough for:

P-touch lable maker, mini-mag, harris elec snips and punch down tool, Wiha mini-screwdriver set, leatherman, toner, various CD's to image PC's, floppy's, zip ties, and maybe an O'reilly now and then. :D

I like it cuz I can wear it like a shoulder bag, waist bag or just carry it. Bought it at REI for about $50 bucks.

Should have no prob fitting your cable clippers.

My tool box: various boxes, milk crates, drawers, actual tool boxes and frequently sitting on my desk are tools:)

Too many to list, for too many different types of job.

I always know where my auto tools are, and I know where at least one of my 4-way screwdrivers, soldering iron and my mini ratchet set are at all times.
Never know when I might have to open up a case and do an emergency vcore mod or something:D

Bwaahaaaa. Ditto!!!

But when I actually wanna do something I more often than not just use my Swiss Army Knife LOL

I keep my big 100W soldering poker handy for threatening things with.

I keep kidding myself, I'm gonna have them sorted into sets one day, electrical and computer tools, household tools, vehicle tools, carpentry tools, metal and pipe work tools....

My toolkit is finely spready across the floor of the room, with clusters of screws gathered around NIB magnets and screwdrivers around some bigger magnets. My torch is safely locked away until I finalyl recieve that steel sheet to cove rmy table (it's not a conventional torch, heh. I have all sorts of odd things). Basically, everything that is easy to lose is attached to a magnet.
