Right HERE (http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=USPlastic&category%5Fname=Fabrication+Tools&product%5Fid=Solvent+Cement&cookie%5Ftest=1)

I hear it's kinda runny, so be carefull when using. I'm gonna load mine in a syringe for dispensing.

Hey, look at this neat plastic tubing (http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=usplastic&category%5Fname=Clear+PVC+Pipe+and+Fittings&product%5Fid=Clear+Rigid+Schedule+40+PVC+Pipe&cookie%5Ftest=1) that site sells - how cool would that look in a clear case? Plus it'd have all the benefits of copper tubing - rigidity, easier to route tidily in your case, and it's completely transparent - but no soldering, just glue to connect it all together. Might have to get me some of that for my next watercooling :)

Go to home depot or lowes and get the silicon adhesive - comes in one of those big caulk tubes (for caulking gun) or a normal squeeze tube and is used for adhering acrylic sheets together (for roofing type material, etc made of acrylic). I used it to adhere my window to the inside of my steel case and it worked great. The one thing is that it takes about a day to dry solid and about 7 days to fully cure...

Yeah, I was looking at some of the 4" stuff for a bong, but then I looked at the "T" fittings....$209+....ouch. Their cheapest fittings are $5 (1/2"), which is still too much.
Time to get super creative.

Howdy,

Probably the best adhesive for acrylic (in my humble oppinion at least) is Methylne Chloride ( I hope I spelled that right) this stuff is just like water, sets up very quickly and dries clear. It is sold in industrial type plastics places as an adhesive for acrylic, using a needle type aplicator is most highly recommended.

I have found this much easier to work with the stuff like weld on 16 and such out of the tube, you can avoide the hassles of the little "hairs" of glue getting stuck here and there on you.

To use the M.C., you just hold the two pieces to be welded together, and using your applicator touch the end of the needled to the seam, let capilary action do it's thing, and with in a few seconds, it should be bonded enough to hold on it's own, total set up time is about 24 hours if I recall correctly, but you can work with the piece in just a few minutes.

Yeah, methylene Chloride is the best adhesive for the job, but unless your joints are cut just perfect, that case will look like the builder had one eye and sneezing fits.

If you're confident you can make a perfect joint before applying the glue, MC is also on that link I provided.

i belive most things that bond acrylic together just cause a chemical reaction and i guess melts the plastic together to bond it. I have a question about it tho i was thinking about using some of this stuff to make a resivior do u think it would hold strong enough ? anyone?

Yes, that's the stuff that most clear reserviors are made out of (commercially) because that's nearly the only adhesive/cement that will bond plastic reliably. Even the almighty JBWeld will snap off of acrylic.

Have the same issue, is "Methylene Chloride" a product name, or is it just the chemical name (if so, can it be bought in 'normal' shops etc) ?
