128mb ddr. You can add more later and use it in more modern motherboards.

Ditto, however the price difference between 128mb and 256mb DDR is only 20.00, if it takes a week of waiting to earn it, definitely wait because 128 > 256mb has a huge difference!

what OS and what are you going to do with the PC.
Friend of mine uses linux to run a web server with a database and perl dynamic setup.
He would rather have more memory. the more cached data the faster the servers performance. He host commercial sites, that he did the programming for on PC100 memory.
it all depends on what you want to do.
For AutoCAD I would say 256Minimum and DDR.......
i'm running windows XP and someone on the other thread gave me a thought that crucial sent me a bad memory stick =( so i'm thinking about just returning it and getting DDR... i dunno why i bought sdram in the first place, guess i wasn't thinking haha

do you have an ECS K7S5A motherboard?
hmm actually i just remembered that my mobo doesn't support DDR, which is why i got SDRAM in the first place..
i'm an idiot =(
