hey i was just using sandra and mbm to confirm this.......and i was wondering......is this BAD? the power supply is some generic 400W one. My 5.0V does around 4.81V. What are the effects im going to get from these results? thanks

No, that's completely inaccurate. Can we have your computer specs such as: Motherboard, CPU @ What if overclocked, PSU - Rails, RAM - Latency, and Video Card? Try going in MBM and into the voltages and setting the sensor as 8KHA and see what it does. On my motherboard it enables somethings that the original sensor doesn't offer like AGP Voltage.

Until you can give us some details on your system specs, it is going to be difficult helping you as it could be the motherboard reporting wacked readings ;)

As for the 5v, is that at load or idle? If that's at idle you will definitely run into issues.

oh ok haha, i changed my sensor to the 8HKA and now it shows 3.3V. Yeah the 5V idles at 4.81V, what kind of problems and issures will i be running into with this voltage? thanks a lot

 Maybe random lockups + reboots. Go to aoafiles.com go to Utilities > Stress Testing and then grab Prime95. Run the Torture Test, the only way is to find out for yourself.
