newegg 1600+ $55
kx7-333r $95

so $140 dollars total and you should be able to run 166-180mhz fsb without any unlocking of the cpu. all this depends on the cpu's core but 9 out of 10 you'll get one that can do this easily..

usually msi, abit and epox, and asus have nice overclocking features. epox and msi seems pretty popular although many people are hardcore abit and asus fans. it doesn't really matter but it's just a personal preference.

u can get an 80 dollar board without raid from newegg and a 1600 like qwetry suggested and it'd be a pretty sweet deal. make sure to get a good heatsink too. thermalright, alpha, and swiftech make the best ones.
