UT2k3 Demo and v5 5500 ???

Can anyone give me the skinny on how to run this demo? Call me lazy, but I really don't feel like reading all 125+ replies on the UT2k3 website.

Can someone give me the edited version? I would greatly appreciate it.

We don't know enough about any problems you had to offer any advice. I installed it on two machines already and both ran flawlessly out of the gate. Both machines have nVidia cards, though. Your Vodoo card may be the problem, but with no system description or explanation of the error(s) you are getting, you probably won't get many responses.

Alot of us don't have Voodoo 5 cards and alot of us don't know what problems are associated with them. We just want to help out, so if someone asks for more information then it'd be helpful to them if you'd give it to them.

Luckily my family computer has a Voodoo 5 in it so I'll get my brother to install it tonight and see what you are experiencing and try to go from there.

they broke it..
there is a report from Mark Rein himself, they one of the guys messed up one line of code, rendering the voodoos unusable...
this will be fixed in the retail version..

There is a patch for the demo that fixes the Voodoo issues.

Actually I just read what it fixes and it says it fixes voodoo3 issues but try it anyways what the hell.

nice attitude... having as many posts as you do and being a member of our Seti Team here, i would imagine you would know alittle better than that... he was only trying to help, hard to do when you dont explain to us what your problems are/were...

The new patch looks to fix a whole slew or problems with Voodoo cards, and Matrox cards, hopefully that will solve whatever problems you may be having.

No, you are just asking people to do your legwork for you. Not only are you unwilling to install the thing and find out (after all, as you pointed out you have the V5, not us), you won't even read the available information regarding possible issues. Read the internet, install it and see, or don't. It's your ball game.
