Oxidation on block

is this a factor? what do you guys do to keep your blocks oxidizing or is this a non-issue.

if the block is copper, it will oxidize, I dont believe it to be a problem except for appearence, anyway make sure to use distilled h20, add water wetter, purple ice or waterpump lubricant and change the water once a year! Happy overclocking, J.

Another cheaper solution, is to just add a bit of anti-freeze to the water, it works great.

if you're worried about the outside of the block not looking so pretty, a brown scotch-brite will polish it right up. And the only spot that oxidation could hamper heat transfer in is right over the processor, and some good thermal paste should help protect against this.

copper will oxidize and corrode over time. Add some polar substance to the water (antifreeze, water wetter, dish soap maybe would work). That will do it.
