Thermaltake chrome orb?

I bought one today for ~3.5 $US. Was it a waste of money? Or is it a good HSF?

I am not sure of what I can do with it. I don't need it for a cpu, so I was thinking of modding it so that it will fit something else...

Any suggestions?

It's not much of a hsf... although i guess it wouldn't hurt to arctic alumina adhesive it to your gpu (video card)?? depends on what video card you have. If you have a geforce 4 ti4200 + then it's not really worth it... good luck finding something though! there's always a use for old parts...

epoxy it onto your vid card..

i stuck on my stock hs from my xp1800.. :)

or you can mod the hs to a waterblock

mod the clip and use AS alumina epoxy to stick it to the noth bridge chipset. Will cool it really well and look cool.
