i have Rage Mobility 8mb in my laptop, and Radeon 9000 64mb DDR... it's not the fastest card, but for the way i game (about 5 hours a week) it's good enough... and it's cheap... like it can play Castle Wolfenstein at pretty much the highest settings at 800x600 at 90 FPS... anything over that is useless to me since my screen only goes up to 85hz... it'd be nice to get a constant 90 FPS at 1024x768 on games, but for right now, i'd rather "suffer" than spend the money on a new card...

Ok that was alot of replies... form this i can see that most of you at one stage or another had a GeForce 2 XXX, in a close second is a GeForce 4 TiXXXX, and in third are the ATI Radeon and there are a few Voodoo cards.

this is sorta off topic but I've heard all nvidia cards since tnt have been sli compatible, I think nvidia should put out a single board sli version of the ti4600, that alone would be enough to surpass the 9700, I dunno I guess I'm just ranting, I loved the voodoo2 sli modes and I wouldnt mind seeing more cards supporting this valuable feature.
