motherboard : ASUScuw-rm socket370 intel810 AGP chipset
onboard sound and video..the video is disabled
CPU : celeron?? 433MHz

videocard : pinegroup nvidia vanta pci videocard with 16Mb ram

RAM : pc133 sdram

BIOS : awardmedallionBIOS set to jumperless mode
CUW ACCPI BIOS Revision 1012

in the ADVANCED section of the bios setup:

the CPU Internal Frequency : is set at 433MHz ;choices= manual, 433, 650,

the CPU Frequency Multiple : is set at 6.5x ;and is unchangable

the FSB/DRAM/PCI Freq. Ratio : is set at 2/3/1 ;choices= 2/3/1, 3/3/1

the CPU External (FSB) Freq. (MHz) : defaulted to 66.67 ;choices= many

I changed the CPU External (FSB) Freq. to 73.01 and know the bios reads the chip at 474MHz

my questions....IS THIS A GOOD OR BAD THING TO DO?

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN AT 75.00 on the EXTERNAL (FSB) FREQ.??

the machine seems quite stable so far (touch wood) with no lock-ups or anything.
and the sound is much better.

any information would be a help as i am a rank newbie at this.

thanx in advance.
