ok i know its a strecth but just follow me.dont we all want the best for amd?that will give us the best processors and at reasonable prices.


"current amd"almost broke-below profit margin cpu prices-design flaws-customers see bad future.

what we want for amd-
"future"-higher profit margins-money spent on par with intel in r+d-high customer expectations-hammer is revolutionary.

those are just a few of my sentiments on what id like for amd.and some of what ive heard for others.

ok before ya go rant'n on me or just plain dont understand where im going.what im sujjesting is a wild crazy plan for amd.
it could even put em years ahead of intel! sound crazy? well it is!but who knows?


ok here goes!
1.amd joines forces with MS!
2.MS invests in amd R+D and gets them on thier feet.
3.hammer is 64 bit correct? windows is 32 bit currently.who will make money? MS! think of all the new copies.
4.Hammer revoulutionlises computers a second time around.of course MS is right there again too.making even more money.
5.after this amd and MS go thier ways.amd pays loans back.MS can sell all the new os's needed.

wanna bet bill hasnt thought of this? i cant prove he has but id bet a sandwich on it.

i know its unrealistic in some terms,but doesnt it give a nice warm feeling im your belly?
sure u end up paying more for a cpu.$400-$500
and amd gets a new lease on life.
and MS gets richer.
but wont MS get richer anyhow without helping amd?
and we know for revoulutiony cpu's we would pay higher price.and also "joesixpak" would buy a amd computer backed by MS.

see problem solved and next week i run for pres of USA!wow i did get a heck of a bump on my head! who hit me with a hammer?ooopps i mean opteron with a handle. hehee

you forgot the ms encodes copyright protection into amd chips, then the amd chips only run registered ms software :/

geeezz all im trying to get across mabey something good will happen to amd.

as i see it everyone wants the "amd" they dream of.no comprimising,no give and take.we just want the best processor for 1/2 what its worth?

i dont really care what they have to do to survive and be succesefull.money in the bank talks.itll be a sad day when we have to start ocing our hopped up via c3's! just becouse us customers werent willing bend.actually i think amd puts alot of thought into the oc market.cant we help them? its all im saying.


gloom and doom sux.its all we read now about amd.cant our market "oc'ers"wich is greatly catered too,help the least thought of company?

what i said above i didnt take as a possability.just as a glimps of a better future.and that we may have to bend or comprimise a bit to be happy in the long run.

or mabey the flip side is this.amd has dumb people runnning the company and dont give a crap about me and you.they just take and take and build thier pockets bigger and will sell out to intel next week.

anyone complain about spending $350 for a gf4? or $400 for a 9700? the profit margins are overwhelming in that market.but a $400 amd chip most would think is crazy.its like buying a thrift store brain for a million dollar body.

i know this is just alot of ranting and alot of its pointed at myself btw.i just wanna help amd out and dont know how except to mabey make us think a bit.mabey i need a shrink :rolleyes:
