how do i find out if i have a pci or agp video card?

look in your case, and if the card is plugged into a white slot its pci and if its plugged into a brownish slot, its agp.

also... if you right click on my computer, then go to properties... then device manager and click the + by display adapters. Then right click the icon for your video card and click properties.
look for "location"
my agp card loos like this "Location 10 (PCI bus 1, device 5, function 0)"
and my pci card looks like this "PCI Slot 4 (PCI bus 0, device 11, function 0"
notice that the pci card says "pci slot 4", but don't be tricked b/c the agp card says "pci bus 1"... that's not the slot... just the way its recognized.
ty i couldnt find some of that location stuff so i just opened it up and thank goodness its agp :) :D :cool: :beer:
