Ok ive read the sticky and not to mention other posts on overclocking ram but the options in my bios just seem diff from what others r talking about unless im just too tired to realize whats going on. anyway my system specs on in my sig.
Now i have these settings in my bios under the dram clock/ drive control:
dram clock spd - either 133 or 166
dram latency- 2 or 2.5
precharge to active (trp) - 2t, 3t
active to cmd (trcd) 2t, 3t
bank interleave - 2 or 4
active to precharge (tras) - 5t, 6t
ddr dqs input delay which is at auto and at 24
dram access - 3t or 2t
enhance dram performance - which is disabled
ddr dqs output delay at auto which is 40

ok now i hate to be such a bother but geez i just dont understand which of these need to be at 2-2-2-5 etc and what not im real confused. I have my fsb on my abit kx7-333 to 166 right now running my athlon xp 1600 at 1743. Now besides those options i listed what about my vcore should i set that to 1.8 along with my dram voltage to 2.8? anyway thnx for any help provided. gosh im such a bother =\

I also have a questions about the DRAM clock speed. I'm O/C'd on this board to around 172, but I haven't changed this setting yet. Could I get more performance?

Now back to your question. On the RAM setting, except for the bank interleave (where 4 is the best), the lower the better. I'm not sure what your RAM will support, but you can try out setting each one to the lower setting and checking to see if it will post.
