I know this is just a repeat of everyone else that says, hey I am a newb, "help me water cool my rig." I am setting up my rig soon with water cooling and I already know pretty much what I am doing. Here are my specs:~~~~~~Thanks Jon.

Maxijet (1200??? or smaller?)
85 Chevette heater core or maybe 89 camaro
Vantec Stealth 120 - I just ordered this for a diff reason but could I use this on my heatercore.
1/2" Tygon tubing.

Any advice is welcome, but I think for my budget range...these components are close to what I am getting.

Maskedgeek swears by the Maxijets, I think the 1200. I would go for the Via Aqua if $$$ is a concern, lots of folks use them and seem happy with them and they flow 370GPH. As I always say, if you can afford the Eheim, go for that. System looks good BTW.

Speaking of dtex gf4 block, are you refer to this (http://dtekcustoms.safeshopper.com/18/81.htm?157) ? It seemed that it's not yet available. I'm thinking to get this block too. :)

Yeah, that is the gf4 block I was refering too, even though it looks as if it needs a bit of lapping. I will look into the other pumps as well nik. Is eheim that much better? I mean it is two times more than the maxijet.

I think your setup is pretty solid. Only potential problem I see is the TC-4. Don't get me wrong, it is a great performing blocking, that isn't the problem. The problem is obataining one. They have been out of stock for a while now. I waited a month, and they still weren't in, so I bought a different block. I still bought from D-Tek though. Great company.

Man...I went to check out heater cores and wow, they are much bigger than I anticipated. The camaro core was 8-1/2" x 7" I would have to put that outside my rig. Especially if I put two shrouds and 120s on it. Even the chevette will be tight. Anyone got an Antec or Cheiftec like mine with one of those cores in it? I will post some pics tomorrow or the next day...got java class tomorrow.

As far as the tc-4 four not in stock...I am in no super rush. If is too long I will look into a fab shop I work with sometimes. They have the tools to do one like it for me.

I got the dtek heatercore...
