I bought a globalwin fop38.......sure it cools down my computer just great, but it sounds like a hair dryer on HIGH. Any suggestions on keeping the noise down, while not having to buy a new cooler?

This is a perfect example of "how can anyone answer this". You don't say what your processor is, CPU temperature, case setup, ambient temperature, etc. You may not need the Delta 38...but then again you might..
Go with the 80mm fan. More air flow for less noise... can't lose.

I'm assuming that those of you fed up with loud fans are going to use fan adapters. Wouldn't this cause back flow?
