I've just bought a P4 2.53Ghz cpu and the Sspec is SL6EV and voltage is 1.5v. I've checked the Intel site and can't find any information on this thing. I'm really confused because as I understand it "B" stepped P4 have 12 capacitors underneath them and "C" stepping will have 20 capacitors - please correct me if I'm wrong. I've just checked mine and it has 16 capacitors of which one is unpopulated. Has anybody got any info on this cpu??

I want to know this too.
I know someone selling this:

Product Code: BX80532PE2533DSL6EV
Phillipines - packed 10/8/02

Is it a BO or a C1 stepping?
