Negative TEC Temperatures

I was wondering, are negative/below freezing temperatures bad even if you have sufficient insulation? I know condensation is bad, but can a Leufken TEC kit and silicone provide enough condensation protection?

god if iknow about the condensation but negative temps are not bad for the processor

The only problem that I can think of, other than those you mentioned is when you get so cold that the silicon in the chip starts to contract and causes stress fractures, other than that I see no problem, as long as you don't get to zero degrees kelvin (-276c) then your data would cease to travel through the chip.

oh its lower than you will ever get i belive it is some where near -100C some people have used liquid nitrogen directly on the core with out problems and they usualy hit -40C

It is good down to -50C...it'll work below that...but not for too long.

All thing expand when there hot and all things contract when there cold, it the law of nature, don't worry about contracting to the point of breaking anything, you would have to be using an exotic setup to achieve this, and by the time you could create such a system you would be well fimilar with such problems, so don't sweat it.
Only real biggy to worry about is condensation.
