I have a TH7-II RAID with a P4 2.0GHz Willamette overclocked to 2.2GHz.

I can do multiplier 20, FSB 110 max. Anymore and it hangs.
If I increase my voltage from 1.7v to something higher, will this help me stay stable on higher speeds ?

And what is a recommeded fan/cooling solution for £30ish max which may allow me to go perhaps up to 2.6 or 2.7 GHz?

Any help greatly appreciated!
Thank You in advance.

Are you saying your 1.6 can be overclocked more than my 2.0 ?

Also, I may be selling my 2.0 to buy a 2.2 Northwood.
This Northwood would o/c good wouldnt it?

Some general observations, which you could almost call general truths:

-Northwoods overclock way better than Willamettes
-So yes, his 1.6 will overclock more than your 2.0
-Generally, processors with a lower multi (such as the 16X with the 1.6A) will overclock better than processors with a high multi, such as 22 for the 2.2. If you really want to overclock high, you may (and probably will) be better off buying the slowest P4B (17x133=2260)

The 1.6, 1.8, 2.0, & 2.2 Northwoods all came out in the same period and of these the 1.6 and the 1.8 overclocked the best. I am not familliar with the newer releases with the 133fsb.
