Is PC2700 ram still better than PC2100 if I'm not going to overclock? My cooling is just not good enough to overclock at this time. I have Kingmax PC2700 ram so I feel like I'm wasting it. I'm thinking about selling it and just getting Crucial PC2100 ram instead. Is the bandwidth better with PC2700 while not overclocking or is it just acting like PC2100? I hope this makes sense. Thanks! :)

Does your motherboard allow you add 33 to the fsb for your ram? I know some of them allow you to do this from the bios so that you can run your system at a spec 133 fsb but your ram is doing 166, or 2700 in your case.

My motherboard is an Abit KR7A-Raid and I can adjust the FSB. My Bios says that my FSB is 133.

Hmm...Well I doubt that that board will utilize the memory at PC2700 if you don't overclock. But I still think you should keep the ram. If you are going to upgrade the motherboard sometime, maybe you will be able to use it. Or I suppose you can sell the ram and some day buy PC3200+ later when you upgrade the motherboard/get a new system, but it's up to you.
