I just had an Idea. A lot of people have the heatercore at the bottom of their case sucking air in and then passing it though the case and out the back. I was thinking, if you took some PVC pipe or somthing and connected it to the rear fan that blows out, and made it bend 90* and out a blowhole in the side of the case, that it would lower the temps a little because none of the hot air would be traveling though the case. Any comments? I think i might try this

fitting ducting in your pc that is that size is a pain and a half.

my rad didn't fit in the bottom of my case. It's horizontally in the top, it blows in from outside the case and is ducted out above the PSU, it works great.
yo do it and take some temps.. and report back

it sounds like a fine idea, only i wouldnt know where to fit ducting that size in my case.... but hey, if you got the room for it, go nuts bro. it should work nice

It's really not worth it. The air temp coming out of the rad is like, .05C - 1C hotter than ambient air. At least on my system it is.

Yeah, what nikhsub1 says is true, are passing through the radiator isnt reallly much warmer than ambient.

Then where does all the heat go? Think about it. If you were using an air-cooled HSF on your processor, with the same inflow/outflow that you have in your current watercooling setup, the amount of heat should still be the same.
