I am trying to locate a cheap place to buy some copper plate from (1/2'' or 3/4''). Any online store that sells metals is ok, since I am also looking to buy some almuminum stock.
Links to stores would be of great help...

Thanks,

Felix

www.copperstock.com

A 3 lb piece is $34.99 (including shipping and tax) and he ships anywhere in North America. I think you have to contact him about shipping overseas...

Luck...

wow, they're all pretty expensive compaired to the 3in x 1/4in x 3ft bar of copper I picked up from a local machine shop for $27 no shipping, no tax, just made a few calls, and stopped by and picked it up, and paid cash.

Just go to a local machine shop and ask for them to cut you up some copper "bus bar" plate stock (99.99% pure copper). They'll probably have the thickness you want in stock.

It should be very cheap.
