Definately. The K7 line (socket A) ends w/ Barton. After that, they're going to K8 (Hammer)

Clawhammer has 700-someodd pins, and the Sledgehammer has 900-someodd pins. Definately going to require a new mobo.

what's the point in having SO many pins? I know they each do different things and that the 32-64 bit chips will need to be able to double duty as eather or so it needs more pins, but 900?? Why?
