Strange temps on Athlon with KA7

Can anyone tell me, why my CPU runs 39 degrees idle but only 37 degrees under load

Maybe you run multiple CPU cooling tools at one time. When they interfere, CPU goes to full load, which does not occur when running other appz. Are you sure your temperaturemeasurement is ok, how do you measure Idle, in windows or not? I measure Idle by letting it go into screensavermode with no important appz running. This way, it becomes real idle, as videocard is partially shut down.

How do you measure temps?

thats interesting, but why are you complaining?? Those are good temps and the fact you are running cooler under load is very cool.

I´m not running any cooling tools?
I measure temps with a thermocouple which comes with the mobo..
it´s placed directly on the side of the die..
Until now..I used to measure idle just in Windows
