i got it a week ago from zbuy. here is the prod code ******** 1100256sl5ze. pack date was 6/5/02. is it luck or what. my first 1.1 celeron can do up to 129-130 at 1.6v but at 133 it just lock up opening of window screen. btw its running on retail heatsink and paste. sorry i do not have screen shot to prove it so you gonna have to trust me.

i trust you. :D
my 1.1A is more than capable of running at 145 fsb @ 1.7v and is currently running at 140 fsb @ 1.5v.
it has a pack date 2 days before yours. :D
what is the FPO/batch code? that can tell us more about the chip than the prod code.
i use the stock heatsink and TIM as well.
i believe it would run at 150 fsb (it posts but crashes into windows) if i put a heatsink on my northbridge. it currently has no heatsink at all.

The FPO/BATCH# 7220a172
right now im **** at crucial cause their 256mb cl2 would not do cl2 at 133(in bios on bootup it said recommanded set at cl3 and also if at 133 (and 140fsb)unstable in game..screen all mess up if i exit game and back in). an older cl2 128mb i have do it just fine and without screen messing up. i cannot believe this. all i heard from this company was they are good quality memory.im going to call crucial on monday and see whats going on.

are you sure it is rated for CAS2 @ 133? some them are only CAS2 up to 100.
are you running it by spd? if so, turn that off.
that FPO/batch is almost identical to mine. - 7216A961.
mine being a week 16 chip and yours being a week 20 chip.
weeks 12-13 to 20-22 seem to be the best for overclocking.

Yes it is rated at 133mhz cl2. thats what i ordered and the label on the memory say "256mb, synch, 133MHz, CL2".
What do you mean spd. i try booted it with only the pc133 cl2 128mb crucial i brought a year ago and it doesn't asked to set it at cl3 but when i put only the 256mb i just got it on tuesday in and set it at 133fsb the bios recommanded to set it at cl3. also this 256mb is not as tall as the older 128mb crucial i have.
the screen is only messing up if i set the 256mb memory at cl2. after i set the bios at cl3 screen is fine but sandra memory bench mark went down

SPD mean serial presence detect. it's a little bit like a bios chip for your ram. it contains all the info about the chip, it's rated speeds and timings etc.
running by spd, will make the bios automatically run the ram at it's rated speeds.
i have a stick of hyundai 128mb that is only rated up to CAS3@133. it is currently running at CAS3@140. if i were to set it to run using SPD. the ram would be run at CAS3133 instead.
crucial normally is very good ram, but like all things mistakes are made, maybe you just got a bad stick of ram?
EDIT: SPD. (http://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/0,,sid9_gci533524,00.html)
