I'm looking at getting a new video card for my new system. Either the LeadTek Winfast A250 Ultra TD GF4 Ti 4600, Chaintech GF4 Ti 4600 GT61 or the MSI GF4 Ti4600-TD. All three are 128MB and have gotten good reviews. I'm just having a hard time deciding which one. Can someone help me decide or have any other cards that are good? Thanks.

i would personally go with the MSI...they seem to have the best quality out of the three...

I 'd go with the LeadTek Winfast A250. It is a great performer and I can't think of one bad think people have said about it. It is also a great looking card with that monstrosity of a Heatsink it has.

GT61 does well for me, plus it looks cool :)

MSI has better customer support and such than Leadtek. Leadtek has none. You got a problem, too bad, unless you live in Taiwan.

MSI is your best bet out of the choices you provided.

It all depends on the price .If the prices resemble those of 2 months ago before the radeon 9700 Pro came ................ don't get 'em . I'd advise you to get a Ti4200 . A 4600 I could probably only recommend to someone who really wants extreme speed and features and wants to keep the card for a long time but can't find the $ to get a $330 9700 pro .
Also I think this only applies to someone who really needs/wants a highend card immediately . If you already have something like a GF3 , GF4ti or radeon 8500 I'd advise waiting till the NV30 or upgraded 9700 pro comes out .
PS: No I'm not being a hipocrite , I only changed my GF3 cause it just wouldn't run well in my rig ........ too many hangups ...... too unpredictable . It now resides in a celery 1GHz rig and is working flawlessly .

Don't forget the driver problems...
Don't forget the motherboard incompatibilities...
Don't forget the Power Supply issues...

Thanks for all the replies. My motherboard only supports AGP 4X. Will the NV30 chipsets go up to AGP 8X? If so, what's the use of me getting it if I cannot use it to it's fullest potential? I have been leaning towards the LeadTek because that is what I have now (LeadTek GF3 Ti 500) and I have not had a single problem with it. I have installed every driver from Nvidia that has come out (4.0.4.1 being the latest). I may just go with the LeadTek GF4 Ti 4600.

Most likely the NV30 will be 8XAGP. Also the latest drivers are the 40.71
Hey stinger, quite simply it comes down to this..... You don't want to spend too much... so, CAN YOU TELL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE VISUAL OUTPUT???......... Not really right? Save ur cash and be economic. However, if you want to be persuaded, id have to say MSI.

Yep, 40.71 is the latest. Sorry about that...

Just wanted to say Mechwarrior 4 is a great game. I play CTF at least once a day on it or Black Knight.

I enjoy MW4. I'm part of the NukeSylo Thirteen clan. Maybe you have seen some of our servers up [NS13]******? Hope to see you in the Zone...

Hmmm I dunno I think I've seen it. Are you a TA clan? I'm in SCS and we usually have a server or two up as well. We're strictly CTF though.

We do mostly Team Attrition and Attrition. Occasionally CTF's as well, but, not that often.

ah you already have a GF3 Ti500... I don't really see any point in upgrading.
The Ti500 will run all of today's games at least. I'd at least wait til NV30. Even though it'll be 8X, the 4X AGP slot wouldn't really limit it's performance much at all (from what I've seen).
